Dr. Gene Shapiro, DDS

Dr. Shapiro believes dental care should be both exceptional and informative, while always respecting the connection between oral health and overall wellbeing. His approach blends clinical precision with a thoughtful, patient-centered philosophy.

He earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from UCLA in 1991 and completed his residency at Cedars-Sinai Hospital. Dr. Shapiro is an active member of both the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association, and he remains committed to continuing education and modern, evidence-based care.

Outside the office, Dr. Shapiro values time with his wife and three daughters. He can often be found coaching on the soccer fields of Los Angeles or enjoying time on the ice playing competitive hockey—interests that reflect the balance, discipline, and teamwork he brings to his practice.
